LaRuby May’06 was recently featured in an article in The Washington Informer spotlighting the role of Black women in environmental justice. Known for her advocacy for consumer rights, May has taken on lawsuits addressing health risks associated with products such as hair relaxers, baby formula, and talcum powder. May emphasized the importance of legal action in holding corporations accountable for harming marginalized communities.
