Christian Cooper ’19 was appointed General Counsel for Performance Software Corporation, a software firm that works in avionics, aerospace/defense, healthcare and energy.  

“UDC is known across the country for preparing some of the best public practicing attorneys, and I happily say I know many in my class who are doing absolutely amazing work,” Cooper said. “UDC’s faculty gave me not just the knowledge but the courage to step into the private/corporate world of the law. Now, just two years after graduation, I’m General Counsel for a software aviation defense firm and am responsible for just under 300 employees and countless other contractors.”

Cooper extended thanks to UDC Law faculty members for preparing him to for this opportunity. “I’d like to thank Prof. Saleema Snow for challenging me to reach my full potential, Prof. Philip Lee for the understanding and care he showed me and Prof. Deb Cohen for believing in me even when I doubted myself.”
