The Transactional Law Practice Pathway is designed as a guided curriculum that will prepare you for a career as a general transactional law practitioner. Transactional law attorneys facilitate dealings between individuals and businesses in a broad array of contexts. These may include individual based transactions like adoption, residential closings and basic family planning, as well as corporate and commercial transactions, like business formation and purchase and sale agreements. In addition to your core legal analysis, research and writing skills, you should develop strong interviewing, drafting, negotiating and counseling skills and a basic knowledge about business and taxes.
