UDC Law Hall of Fame Nomination Form

In 2022, The UDC Law Alumni Hall of Fame was established to honor alumni (living or deceased) whose exemplary careers, extraordinary service or outstanding contributions to UDC Law have significantly impacted our community and beyond.

The Hall of Fame Class of 2025 will be recognized at the UDC Law Gala. More information on the event will be available in the coming weeks. A virtual Hall of Fame will be established to include photos and bios of the Hall of Fame honorees and live permanently on the UDC Law website.

NOMINATIONS

Nominations for the 2026 Hall of Fame is now closed

Please use this form to nominate an individual. You may nominate yourself. You may submit more than one nominee, but you must fill out the form separately for each individual.

SELECTION

The UDC Law office of Institutional Advancement has appointed a Selection Committee of faculty and administrators to review the nominations and make their final recommendations to her. To protect them from any possible pre-selection lobbying and post-selection questions and concerns, the list of Committee members is confidential. New Committee members will be selected each year. While many prominent individuals who clearly are worthy of inclusion may not be named this year, we look forward to inducting many other extraordinary people in future years, all of whom will be recognized at future annual alumni celebrations or other events.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE HONOREES The presentation of the honorees will be made at the UDC Law Gala.

The following questions ask you to provide the reasons for nominating this individual. You may provide links to outside sources, but the majority of the responses should be in your own words.
Selection Criteria

While the selection process is admittedly subjective, there are general selection criteria. The criteria include the following:

- Nominee’s historic significance to the law school and/or the community

- Nominee’s professional success and reputation
- Nominee’s support of the law school (through time, talent, and/or “treasure”)
