Four UDC Law alumnae featured in literary tribute to influential Latina leaders
In August, Elsie Guerrero ’20 published Latinas Poderosas!, a book celebrating Latinas who are “making a difference in the community by redefining the meaning of leadership and changing lives,” according to the official description. UDC Law alumnae Liana Montecinos ’18, Samantha Rowe ’20 and Flor De Maria Garay ’20 are featured in the book.

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, UDC Law partnered with SuitShop to provide each incoming student with a suit jacket to kickstart their legal careers. First-year students wore the suits for the Aug. 11 pinning ceremony where they received their 50th anniversary branded lapel pins and took an oath committing to the legal profession and service in the public interest.
